At Joie Design Co., we believe in full transparency. The policies on this page govern every service we offer — from your first Paid Trial through to ongoing subscription plans and Estate Home Packages. Please read each section carefully before making a purchase.

By completing any transaction with Joie Design Co., you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all applicable policies outlined on this page, including our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Digital Product & Delivery Policy, and Subscription Plan Policy. These terms apply to all current and future transactions between you and Joie Design Co.

POLICY 3 — RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

​

All services offered by Joie Design Co. are custom-created, professional services delivered digitally. Due to the bespoke and time-intensive nature of our work, all payments are non-refundable once a project brief has been submitted and work has commenced. This policy applies to all packages, subscription plans, estate projects, and add-on services.

2. Paid Trial Package

​

The $249 Paid Trial fee is non-refundable under all circumstances once work has commenced. If Joie Design Co. declines your trial project because it falls outside our service scope, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days of the decision.

​

3. One-Time Packages — Budget 2D, Budget 3D, Budget 2D + 3D

​

All one-time package fees are non-refundable once a project brief has been submitted and work has commenced. If you are dissatisfied with a deliverable, your included revision rounds exist for this purpose. Additional revision rounds are available as a paid add-on at $199 per round.

4. Estate Home Packages

​

The 50% retainer paid at the start of an Estate Home Package engagement is non-refundable once paid. If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, the client is liable for the value of work completed to that point, which may exceed the retainer amount. Joie Design Co. will provide a written account of work completed and the associated value at the time of any cancellation request. Any overpayment beyond the value of work completed will be refunded within 10 business days.

5. Subscription Plans

​

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once processed. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle. Subscriptions cancelled within the minimum 3-month commitment period will continue to be billed until the end of the third billing cycle. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full cancellation terms.

6. Add-On Services

​

All add-on service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced on the associated project. The only exception is Rush Delivery — if Joie Design Co. is unable to accommodate your Rush request due to studio capacity, the Rush Delivery fee will be refunded in full and standard turnaround will apply.

7. Introductory Pricing & Trial Credits

​

The $249 trial credit coupon code issued at the time of subscription conversion is non-refundable and has no cash value. It may only be applied as a credit toward the first month's subscription invoice and expires 30 days from the date of issue.

8. Dissatisfaction

​

Refunds will not be issued on the basis of dissatisfaction with a completed deliverable. Joie Design Co. includes revision rounds in every package and subscription plan specifically to address any feedback, adjustments, or corrections required after initial delivery. We are committed to delivering work that meets your brief and will work with you through the revision process to achieve the right result.

9. Pricing Errors

​

In the event of a pricing error on our website or product page, Joie Design Co. reserves the right to correct the error. In such cases the client will be offered the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund of any amount already paid.

10. How to Request a Refund

​

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the terms outlined in this policy, please contact us in writing at hello@joiedesignco.ca with your order details and the reason for your request. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
