Service providers: We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in delivering our services — including Wix (website and portal hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Google Workspace (email and file management), and Dubsado (client management). These providers access only the information necessary to perform their specific function and are contractually bound to protect your data.
Authorised subcontractors: Joie Design Co. may engage authorised drafting or visualization subcontractors to assist in project delivery. Subcontractors receive only the project-specific information necessary to complete the assigned work and are bound by the same confidentiality obligations as Joie Design Co.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and comply with our legal obligations. Specifically:

Active client project files and correspondence are retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a minimum of 3 years after the last transaction

Client portal files are accessible for 60 days following subscription cancellation, after which they are archived

Archived files may be requested for a $25 administrative retrieval fee

Payment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with CRA requirements

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to our legal and contractual obligations

Joie Design Co.'s services are intended for business-to-business use by adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
